Product Pricing
All prices and shipping charges posted on this site are in Canadian Dollars. Prices may change without notice. Some of the items we carry are delivered directly from outside of Canada to the purchaser. Please note that in these circumstances customs fees may apply. It is your sole responsibility of the purchaser to pay any custom fees that may apply.
Product Pictures
We make every effort to ensure that our website is updated daily. On rare occasions product pictures may differ slightly from the actual product. We are continuously working on improving our website and reserve the right to change specifications and availability without prior notice.
Payment Options
All transactions on this site are SECURE. We accept payment via credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover) Paypal, Money Order, Bank transfer (TT), Cheque (5 day hold before item is shipped). Sorry, no cash on delivery (C.O.D)
Taxes
All taxes are included within our prices. However shipping and handling fees are not included.
Shipping and Handling
All orders are shipped with Canada Post (within Canada) and UPS (outside of Canada). Any order might be subject to custom fees. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to pay any custom fees.
Time of Delivery
We stock an ample supply of products found on this site. The overwhelming majority of products are shipped out within 48 hours of receiving the order during business days. Naturally, delivery time for orders on Saturday, Sunday and holidays would not start until the following business day.
Backorders
In such rare cases, you will be notified that the material is on backorder. Although most backorders are filled quickly, some backorders may take anywhere from one to six weeks.
Warranty / Returns
All items we carry come with a 90 day warranty. Some restrictions apply. Some products have additional manufacturer’s warranty. Defective products will be replaced or repaired if returned to us within the 90 day warranty period. Due to the nature of many products, on equipment and video sales, all sales are considered final and non-returnable unless defective. All returns require prior authorization and an authorization number. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Restrictions
Some of the products sold by The Security Shop may be restricted in your home country and could be subject to seizure by customs. It is the sole responsibility of the BUYER, not The Security Shop to determine any restrictions that may exist with respect to the equipment that the buyer intends to purchase. Legal responsibility and legal possession are transferred to the BUYER immediately upon shipping. The Security Shop will not accept the return of a product which has been sent back to us by customs.
